Earthbound &
Charm et al |
Earthbound: I have been drawing comics for about two years now, (I'm 21 so soon... argh) and in that time Earthbound has changed from a panel strip into a full blown epic A4 lunker. It follows the adventures of Silas Green, an unemployed demon who was thrown out of the Second Circle of the Netherworld and hopes to find better job prospects on Earth. However he meets up with Wraith, a rather excitable ghost, Charron, boatman of the River Twigz, Azriel the Angel of Death, his ex girlfriend and many more. Chronicles is only 7 pages old so far but is also doing well, and is a collection of short stories about the minor characters of Earthbound:D Zoe stead: I'm a pretty laid back kinda gal and am more than happy to chat to anyone about my work. Charm: Charm is a fantasy comic with a mild hint of parody, which has only recently started after a lot of effort from the artist and writer. It focuses on two different 'adventurers' who travel through the fantasy world. It features half dragon Bishonen and a pyromaniac sorceress, and is 100% halfling free. In the long run Charm hopes to be able to poke fun at various conventions in the fantasy genre, as well as develop a deep plot line and reliable update schedule. Salmon Putty: Salmon Putty is a gamer comic without too much gaming, a Slice of Life comic without too much of a life. It's a comic about four gamers who stumble upon the secrets of Trans-dimensional travel and pick up a cat girl, and forget to close the portal behind them. Currently in it's fifth (we think) rewrite, the artist promises that this one is going to stay up for longer than two months... Keith
Evans: Sardonic, satirical, sarcastic and full of apathy, Keith Evans
has an artistic mind with fledgling (four years young) talent, drawing
inspiration from Marvel, Manga and MegaTokyo. He is trying his hardest
to break a Morrowind habit and to actually keep to the update schedules
he promised to keep for his comics. He procrastinates by studying
for a Computer Studies course at the University of Teesside (focusing
on computer games of all things), going to Jeet Kune Do classes and
Role-Playing everything from Dungeons and Dragons to Cyberpunk. When
he has a spare moment, Keith goes to visit his artistic better, Zoe
Stead, and sends ninja death squads to kill the guys who invented
the d20 licence. |
